English Speaking Lesson: Good Vs. Bad Parenting [ESL Worksheet Download]

Do you want to talk about parenting and raising children in English? Learn new English vocabulary words and improve your pronunciation with this English Speaking lesson about taking care of kids, the different phases of childhood, and how to do deal with bad children in the video below:

I had the idea for teaching this lesson the other night after watching the movie ‘Honey, I Shrunk The Kids‘ with my daughters. So, in this video we’ll talk about:

  • Why English students often confuse the word ‘parents’ with ‘relatives’
  • The difference in pronunciation of ‘child’ vs ‘children’ with the short and long I sound
  • Vocabulary words for the different phases of a child’s life
  • And we’ll talk about the way my parents punished me

Then you can fill out the worksheet I’ve prepared for you below to talk about your parents and your parenting skills (if you have children).

On this worksheet, you can tell me about your childhood and parents. When you finish…summarize your answers and tell me about them in the comments below.
