EXLenglish respects your digital privacy. We operate as an open, educational laboratory. We do not require account registration, do not collect personal profiles, and do not sell user data to advertising brokers.

2. Audio & Speech Synthesis

Audio playback on EXLenglish is powered entirely client-side using your browser's native Web Speech API (window.speechSynthesis). No audio streams or microphone recordings are transmitted to or stored on our servers.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We only use browser localStorage to remember your selected natural voice accent preference (e.g., US Samantha or UK Daniel) between visits.

4. External Links

Our resources provide external links to linguistic databases, academic sites (ETS TOEFL, IPA), and SayItVid for native video clips. These sites maintain their own privacy policies.
